The Problem

Chevron needed a complete business continuity plan (BCP) solution to meet ITC requirements within six weeks. The BCP had to address a core operation and eight international sub-groups that were responsible for all the SAP operations at Chevron. Their situation was unique because they had locations in the Philippines, India, and the USA. A solution had be designed and implemented for all their operations with six weeks.

Write on Time Solution

Write on Time interviewed subject matter experts from the core operation and all eight subgroups. We wrote BCP plans for all operations and obtained approval for them, to meet an aggressive timeline. All BCP plans are now published on the Chevron intranet. In addition, we used the BCP plans to conduct dry runs for a possible disaster scenario.

The Problem

Chevron’s IT department had documents to be written, edited and posted to an Intranet Web site. They also needed a server writer. Could they find a solution in one resource?

The Solution

Write on Time Solutions (WTS) found a resource who could do both. First, she learned how to add, update, and maintain documents on their Intranet Web site, which grew to over 1,000 documents. Then, she began working hand-in-hand with server developers. She wrote server install, maintenance, and testing procedures and tested them on servers. The server developers said, “She’s fun to work with, and gets the job done on time too.”
